What Joost Plugin do you want to see?
February 9th, 2007
That is the question we asked in our forums and we got back a lot of interesting and unique ideas. Here are a couple:
- A plugin that would allow someone to program Joost when not at a computer and for Joost to be able to record it
- Ability to play on an iPod
- Record the episode or part you want that airs on Joost (like Tivo)
- Windows Vista Ultimate Extra plugin. It could go hand-in-hand with the one that allows you to set videos as the computer’s wallpaper
- One that lets you stream video off of your computer to devices connected to your network
- A feature for HD content for the users with very fast connections
- A set top box to play on a tv. It would be cool if joost works with the Xbox 360 when it gains IPTV ability plug in that let’s me have a channel with my own content(stuff that I have on my computer).
- a plug in I would like to see is one that let’s me watch the channel’s I get through my TV-card within Joost
- a plugin that allows you to create your own channel , like a blog, so you could make your screencast together
- A rss feed reader for the various channel you know a sort of podcast for the people that have a channel, you subscribe to that channel and you get a list of programs in a predeterminate timespan like a TV Guide
- A plugin for Windows Live Messenger (MSN) that shows what you’re currently watching, just like the “what you’re listening to” feature it already has
- A plugin that allows you to record the broadcast straight into an AVI video
- A tool that lets you fast forward through commercials and stuff.
- Save videos to PSP format, or at least be able to stream them to PSP through WiFi or whatever.
- A channel preview, like a chapter selection in some dvds this channel preview must be customizable with the channel we like the most and saved (to a xml file) for send to a friend!
